Foundation Profile
Ten-year Vision. The Red Bank Borough Board of
Education and The Red Bank Borough Education Foundation will join with the
Borough of Red Bank, the Rutgers Department of Landscape Architecture,
Meadowlands Commission and
various community and State organizations to establish an education / visitor
site at the Primary School property, promoting exploration and preservation of
this environmentally unique landscape along the banks of the Swimming River, and
providing education and learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom
into the surrounding natural environment to create and support an ecologically
literate community.
Primary objectives:
-
Establishing and maintaining a plan for fund generation as well as
general criteria for the distribution of funds.
-
Raising funds by personal and business donations, grants and grant
management procedures.
-
Establishing priorities of relevant projects with special
consideration given to the study of natural sciences in outdoor settings
incorporated in the original design of the Primary School.
